Rules and regulations:

*Captains dinner meeting will be held Thursday, July 23rd, 2020. 5:30pm-7:30pm at Sailfish Marina.
*One team representative must be in attendance.

  1. The decision to fish is solely the Captain’s choice. All anglers fish at their own discretion and risk.
  2. All state & Federal recreational fishing rules governing weight, size, bag limits and licensing must be observed. State fishing license is required by law. Only legal sized fish will be weighed.
  3. All fish must be caught on rod and reels (no electric reels). Kites, downriggers, planners and wires lines are permitted. No line test restrictions. Live, dead, and artificial baits are permitted. No limits to number of lines each boat can fish.
  4. Fishing in the Bahamas is prohibited. There are no southern or northern boundaries.
  5. Lines in at 6:30am EST on July 25th, 2020. Tournament scales open at 1:00 pm and close 2:30 pm. Anglers entering fish must return to the weigh station by water, in the boat they fished from no later than 2:30 pm EST. No fish or anglers can be transferred between boats. All fish weighed in must be accompanied to the scale by the angler or captain of the boat it was caught from and be weighed in the presence of the official tournament weigh master. No mutilated fish will be weighed. In the event of a tie, (identical weights), the first boat that weighed in will win the award based on upon time.
  6. Each angler is allowed to weigh one (1) fish. Each Boat can win one cash prize and the tournament will place you in the best paying category possible. 
  7. Award winners over $600.00 must provide their social security number and will be required to fill out a W-9 form.
  8. All cash and prizes will be awarded to the person or entity that paid the entry fee from the winning boat unless that said person signs a release designating another individual or entity to receive the cash or prize.
  9. There are no refunds for tournament entry fee unless tournament is
    canceled due to covid-19 restrictions (100% refund will be
    issued in that case)
  10. Tournament Discretion: The tournament director reserves the right to implement his or her discretion at any time during the tournament as it may apply to the rules or any other circumstance that should arise before or during the event.
