Amber Nelson

about_us_amber_nelsonIn 2014, Ambers Animal Outreach was founded by Amber Nelson at the age of 13 years old. She has two dogs (Cuddles and Teddy) , a bunny (Pepper) and many reptiles of her own. She enjoys swimming, cake decorating, art and crafts, hanging out with her friends and is known as a “Dog Whisper”.

Amber is a shy, quiet young lady out in public and around people but give her a dog or tell her a dog needs help and there is no more shy, quiet young lady. Amber moves into full gear and there is no stopping her!

She is well known and well respected in her community. Many adults will come to her for help with animals. She is a very intelligent young girl and takes helping animals very seriously. Amber has the love and passion to help dogs in need that goes well and beyond your average young girl.

Amber has been volunteering at several dog rescues and has collected donations since she was 7 yrs old. She has been written up in the Broward Humane Society magazine at a young age for her truckloads of donations. She has received several certificates of Volunteer Appreciation from rescue groups, awarded Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program in recognition of outstanding volunteer efforts and contributions within the community, has been on the news promoting dogs to find their forever homes, and raised $4400 to build a Gazebo for a local rescue group to provide an area for quiet/quality time for the new adopters and their potential new family member. She has also raised thousands of dollars to help dogs in need get orthopedic surgery to live a pain free life.

“Helping DOGS in anyway” is Amber’s motto. Seeing many dogs getting euthanized at Humane Societies due to over population and/or due to medical expense, put Amber into action to open her own non-profit organization known as Amber’s Animal Outreach. Her goal is to help dogs live a safe, healthy and pain free life via raise funds to prevent unnecessary euthanization due to overpopulation and medical expenses . .

With your support to Amber’s new adventure, we can save more lives and help those that need our voice to help them.

WHAT DOES AMBER’S ANIMAL OUTREACH DO?

Amber’s Animal Outreach helps those “children of a lesser voice” by serving dog owners and rescues by assisting with medical expenses, shelter, rescue, fostering, training, dog supplies,spay/neutering and educating the public to prevent unnecessary population.

WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO HELP DOGS IN NEED WITH MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPLIES, FOOD, FINDING THEM FOREVER HOMES, FOSTERING, AND EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ON THE HEALTH ISSUES AND THE IMPORTANCE OF SPAYING AND NEUTERING TO PREVENT OVER POPULATION.
